I spend my days and weeks whittling away on the economic periphery. I encounter a lot of sheer pigheaded lunacy, blowhards, and utter unadulterated ignorance. But even I was surprised with this gem:

“Is Obama a Keynesian?”

“No he is not”!

“Until there’s proof to the contrary…”

“What proof do you want? He showed you his birth certificate! He was born in Hawaii!”

If Obama is a Keynesian, he is certainly not as much of a Keynesian as some people wish he was.
